Reproduction/Infertility

About one in six couples will experience difficulty conceiving. If a couple has not conceived within one year, they may be candidates for the expertise of an infertility specialist. That's why we're here. Progressive, compassionate care with proven success gives the Center for Reproductive Medicine at CMC Women's Institute an assisted reproduction edge that's unmatched.

Whether you have just decided to seek help, or are coming from another center, you'll find comfort in our physicians as well as in our warm and inviting facility. Our office space was designed with patient comfort and convenience in mind. All of our services are conveniently located on-site to serve you and your partner.

Our personalized care focuses on you. Meeting one on one with one of our reproductive specialists will allow our physicians to fully address your fertility needs. After thorough evaluation and diagnosis, together we can determine the most appropriate course of action for you. Many infertile couples are excellent candidates for assisted reproductive technologies in which medical procedures give nature a helping hand. These include intrauterine insemination and in vitro fertilization (IVF). Women whose ovaries do not produce eggs may be candidates for an egg from the donor egg and donor embryo program. The Program for Assisted Reproduction also includes sophisticated procedures such as selective hatching of embryos and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), as well as embryo cryopreservation.

Our center also provides laboratory testing and services related to male infertility, including semen analysis, sperm preparation, provision of donor semen, cryopreservation and more recently, testicular sperm aspiration (TESA), which allows sperm to be obtained directly from the testes in cases of blocked sperm ducts or poor production.

Our fertility services include:
